We are all of us hanging on to life by a string, not aware of how tentative our hold on it really is. Everything we think is permanent isn't. Today one of the most valuable things you own is your personal information. In this age if your information falls into the wrong hands you may get yourself into a mountain of trouble. Recently my information was, along with a large group of other people's information, on a disc that was accidentally lost. I cannot believe how close I came to having my identity stolen. Who you are is closely tied to you are perceived, and when one is compromised the other suffers dammage also. Protect yourself from identity theft, but don't give in to fear. You may not be able to control your destiny-but neither can anyone else if you do not let them.

We are none of us alone
even as we exhale it is inhaled by others
the light that shines upon me shines upon my neighbor as well
in this way everything is connected
everything is connected to everything else
In this way I am connected to my friend even as I am connected to my enemy
In this way there is no difference between me and my friend
In this way there is no difference between me and my enemy
